Customer Reviews
Having used the standard issue green camp mat for years I thought I'd treat my self. So I got othe synmat 7 I have used it once on dartmoor where it got down to 3 degrees and from that trip it seemed to be really good it was packable I never used the supplies bag as I wanted the mat to fit in odd shaped spaces in my pack. It's light and inflated pretty easily when you get the knack of doing it, it's big enough to roll over in and not fall off you could definitely tell the difference in temp when you use it. I have used a standard air mat before and there is a world of difference. So far I am pretty pleased with it.

I've been through a lot of mats over the years and hated every one of them. Either they were simply too thin to take my larger size or weren't nearly warm enough. Until I bought this one. I would have rather had the Synmat 9 (based on recommendations of a friend), but couldn't find it, however, after a weekend out on this one, it's brilliant. Hands down it's the best mat I've had yet. I I had no cold spots and didn't find myself "bottoming out" on the matt at all. One top tip, don't over inflate the mat, I filled mine to maybe 85% percent, once on it it'll very nicely even out and it's more comfortable.

Small, light and portable as advertised, inflating with hand pump is easy, in hind sight might have been better to buy a slightly wider one, slept like a dream on it...

I've just returned from using the Exped 7. It's much better than a standard mat, I didn't slide off once during the night. I wasn't sure how good the pump would be but it worked well and the mat inflated quickly. The only minor down point is that it is quite noisy when you turn over. So far I'm very impressed.

I bought this after using a standard thin air bed and rolling of it each time I moved. I chose the synthetic fill as I thought the warmth rating would be enough for what I needed . I used it for the first time on a cooler October night and it was superb .I only have a 2/3 seasons sleeping bag and I have never slept so well in a tent . It seemed a lot to pay for an airbed , but it was worth it . Its easy to inflate , super quick to deflate and not once , when I moved around on it , did I think I was falling off it . Smart piece of equipment

This is the second one I have bought. First for me, second for my grandson. I've used mine for about 2 weeks camping, and found it easy to inflate with the integral pump, comfortable, compact, and warm. Good product. Watch the manufacturer's video on how to inflate and care for it.

Brilliant bed inflates quickly and is so easy to deflate. packs down as small as those self inflating 25mm mats that take half an hour to deflate and roll up. This bed takes 2 mins and is so easy on the hands when rolling up. lovely and warm I love it!Everyone should try one, not to be confused with a lilo or conventional airbed. I will NEVER use anything else!

I have down mat 7 for harsh New Zealand winter conditions, purchased the synmat 7 for my wife for shorter low altitude trek camping. Both mats are the warmest most comfortable I have used over the years.
